How Solar Pool heating works
An array of thermal solar panels is installed on a south-facing roof or pool-side area. The size of the array required depends on the pool size and operating temperature desired. The panels are connected through a sealed circuit to a corrosion-resistant heat-exchange unit (working fluid non-toxic glycol solution) located in the pool plant room/duct. This is shown in the illustration below.
