| An electric AGA uses an ingenious thermostatically-controlled warm-air re-circulation system to maintain the cooker's perfect operating temperature. In AGA's best tradition, it uses simple, well-proven and highly reliable technology to achieve this feat of engineering.
The electric AGA operates on a normal household 13A supply (all other electric cookers require at least 30A), which means that the overall running costs can be much the same as any other type of AGA. And, as it is always on, its is always ready to use with no time wasted for the cooker to heat up to temperature. Because it's electric, there's no need for a flue or chimney as there's no gas or oil to burn. This means greater flexibility on positioning the cooker in your kitchen - i.e. not on external wall, just near a 13A socket. |
